Your Lakeland email address opens more than mail.
To start, your Lakeland edu address is your user name for logging in to college computers, Wi-Fi and the PaperCut print system. Coming this fall - applying for awards, bursaries and scholarships on our new online platform also use your email address.
You can access your edu email inbox in three ways:
- on your mobile device
- via the webmail link on the Lakeland website
- on your personal computer, including Macs, by installing Microsoft Outlook
More benefits
Outlook isn't the only Microsoft program you can use. You have free access to the full version of Office 365 Plus (see below for details).
You also won't need to have so many memory sticks, because you'll also have free cloud storage on OneDrive.
Plus, you can access Grammarly and LinkedIn Learning.
Check the details of all the advantages of your Lakeland email below.
The format is usually firstname.lastname@edu.lakelandcollege.ca.
You need to know
- Remember to include edu in the address. This is specific to students. Staff and instructor emails don't include this identity.
- Your email address is your username for lab computers, printing, LLC-BYOD wifi, Microsoft 365 and more.
- Your email address isn't activated until you are officially a student and are registered in classes. So, be patient before you try using the address.
