Recognizing outstanding leadership as students transition to alumni is the basis of the President's Circle.
President's Circle members are also nominated as torchbearers. As young alumni leaders they'll keep and carry the vibrant Lakeland spirit into the future.
Faculty and staff nominate students for the recognition. Candidates are appointed based on their campus leadership. Some examples include:
- students' association executives
- resident assistants
- college club leaders
- student-managed leaders
- student ambassadors
Recipients are recognized during a social event with the college president the day
before convocation on each campus.
The President's Circle was launched in the 2018-19 academic year.
