Remember that studying includes other expenses than tuition and fees - you should
also be budgeting for your accommodation and living expenses. Alberta student loan
guidelines recommends $1,153/month.

You'll choose two 3-credit electives. You'll work with the academic advisor to match your interests with the course schedule.

Your weekly class schedule can be found on your My Lakeland student portal when available. This is usually one month prior to the program start date.

Sept 30 — National Truth & Reconciliation Day, college closed
Oct 14 — Thanksgiving, college closed
Nov 1 — Last day to withdraw from semester 1 with W grade or change from credit to audit

Stay another year at Lakeland to earn a business administration diploma - the accounting major is one of your options.

After earning a diploma, stay 1 or 2 more years and earn a degree through our collaborative program with Athabasca University.
Other transfer options
Transfer your credit to Bow Valley College through our Campus Alberta Partners Pathway and continue on with a business administration diploma with a major in accounting.
