Trades Pre-employment: Learning in Action

Taking a pre-employment program gives you a chance to experience what your chosen trade will be like. 

While you have classroom time, you’ll also have a lot of lab time to get the feel of being mechanic, electrician, carpenter, steamfitter-pipefitter or welder. Take a virtual tour of the Trades Centre. 

When you’re finished your technical training on campus, you step into your trade for your practicum.

We find you a placement with an Alberta based industry partner and give you real world experience. Your practicum placement may even lead to a job opportunity.
