Apply to Graduate Help

Yes. First, this is how you will receive your credential. Even if you aren't attending your convocation ceremony, you need to apply to graduate so we can mail you out your certificate, diploma or degree.

Second, we also ask specific questions related to the ceremony such as gown size we order for you.

If you are completing your program in the winter or spring terms, applications to graduate are typically open between March 1 - 25.

If you complete your studies in the fall term, applications are typically open from November 20 - December 20.

Click on the Graduation tile on your My Lakeland homepage.

Under the My Academic tab, select your program and degree.

Select Expected Graduation Term from the dropdown menu.

Please pay special attention to the Graduation Instructions so you select the correct term.

1. Choose whether or not you'll attend convocation.
2. If you say yes, please indicate your gown size using the dropdown menu.
3. My Lakeland will remind you the date and location of your convocation
4. Please read the generation alumni information. If a parent, grandparent or great grandparent attended Lakeland please click on the link to fill out a form so you and family can be recognized. Or, go to Alumni Generation Pin form.
5. Read and consent to have your name shared with alumni organizations and activities.
6. Click continue

   

7. You then have a chance to check that all your information is correct. Once you've verified the information, click on Submit Application.
8. When your application has been successfully submitted, you'll be directed to a submit confirmation screen. Then select, Review name and address.

 

At any time you can select the graduation tile and then choose View Graduation Status.
