The best first step is to do a system check before you try signing in.

There's a system check link just above the login. If your browser isn't compatible or if you're missing a browser extension, you'll get a message about what you need to change, add or update.

You can always call the toll-free help line: 1 877 325 7778. It's available 24/7.

There's also a great online help desk. It includes a chat, FAQs, a place to ask a question and more.

Yes. Wi-Fi on campus is single sign-on, so it uses the same user name and password provided in your enrolment email.

1. Choose LLC-BYOD network
2. Your user name is your first name.last name (ex: rowdy.rustler)
3. Your password is your network password

There is also Wi-Fi access in residence on both campuses. However, if you regularly use a lot of bandwidth, we recommend purchasing your own internet service for personal use from a local provider.

Yes. There are computer labs on both campuses including in the learning commons.

For your first time logging in:

• User name is firstname.lastname@edu.lakelandcollege.ca (ex: rowdy.rustler@edu.lakelandcollege.ca)
• Password is LLC!(last 4 digits of your student ID)

Yes. You’ll be given an edu email address while you're a student at Lakeland. It’s key to using a bunch of technical supports beyond just a mail box.

• It’s your access to printing across campus.
• You have free access to the full version of Office 365 Plus.
• You also won't need to have so many memory sticks, because you'll also have free cloud storage on OneDrive.
• Plus, you can access Grammarly and LinkedIn Learning.

Note: Your edu email address is active while you are a registered student at Lakeland College. Once you are not a registered student, the email account is deactivated.

Good news, you don’t.

We provide you with the full version of Microsoft Office 365 Plus. It includes:

• Word
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• Outlook
• Teams

Even better, you may install Office 365 on up to 5 devices for your personal use, as long as you're a Lakeland student. This is one of the benefits included with your student edu email.

You purchase credits for a paper cut account. You can print all over the college using our multifunction printers found around campus.
